Ridvan has been working as a freelance graphic and web designer since since Nov. 1997, doing photo retouching, desktop publishing, print production, illustration, slide show presentations, posters and web design for clients as varied as Tarantula, Reader’s Digest, Jennifer Clark Design, Sirota Consulting, Avon, and the Local Spiritual Assemblies of the Bahá’ís of New York City, and of the Bahá´ís of the Town of Cortlandt, New York.

Before going out on her own, she spent almost two years as a graphic and web designer for Sirota Consulting, where, as support staff consultant, she designed slide show presentations of client surveys, created and designed new client prospect marketing brochures and artwork for the overview of corporate services for new clients, as well as displayed such work at client briefings. As web developer, she developed, designed and maintained the corporate web page.

From 1994…1996 she served as the Arts Education Consultant for the New Era Nursery School (grades 4…6) in Eket, Nigeria. She initiated, designed and implemented curriculum for all forms of Arts and instructed the staff in methods and opportunities for the application of Arts in the classroom.

From 1992…1994 she worked as a photographer’s assistant at Studio 131 in New York City, where she learned all aspects of commercial photography and slide show production and the technologies of desk top publishing, digital photography and graphic design.

She holds a Certificate for Graphic Design from the Westchester Art Workshop, a B.S. in Fine Art with a minor in photography and an A.A.S. in Architectural Drafting from City University of New York, Staten Island.
